Product description

Handmade from lambswool, these open heeled slippers are easy to slide on without sacrificing the snug factor.  Made from natural fibres and featuring a special insole with arch support, these slippers truly do make you feel like you are walking on clouds!

 These slippers feature a durable outsole made of PU coated microfibre. This guarantees them a longer life and you can even pop outside in them! The slippers also come in a cotton cloth bag that keeps even the wildest pair of shoes in place (and as a bonus is more environmentally friendly than a cardboard box).

Sizing:

The Budapest/Brussels slipper is measured in centimetres from your heel to your longest toe as shown in the photo above.  Summarised below are the size of the slipper and the appropriate foot size:

36 = 22.5 cm

37 = 23 cm

38 = 23.5 cm

39 = 24.5 cm

40 = 25 cm

41 = 25.5 cm

42 = 26 cm

43 = 26.5 cm

44 = 27.5 cm

45 = 28 cm

46 = 29 cm

47 = 29.5 cm

 

Care Instructions:

  • Pilling on the slippers can be removed with a fabric shaver or a simple razor.
  • Can be washed by hand or in the washing machine (30 degrees celcius on the wool cycle and place the slippers inside their slipper bag for protection).
  • Use a mild detergent designed for wool.
  • Air dry, avoid excessive heat (ie dryer, radiator, underfloor heating, etc.).
  • Squeeze excess moisture out of the slippers and then shape them before leaving them to dry.
  • Due to the thick felt of the slippers, it may take a few days to dry completely.
  • Please note that washing can affect the appearance of leather labels.

Returns/Exchange

We want you to love the products as much as we do and your shopping experience with us to be as enjoyable as possible. We do ask that you contact us with any questions - or if you would like further photos on items or would like some items styled together - we are here to help you.

We do ask however that you do shop carefully as we do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases. Products may be returned within 30 days for an exchange or credit note only. This policy is non-negotiable.You are able to use your credit on anything, for split purchases and this will not expire.

For Exchange

Our exchange policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange or store credit.

We ask that you contact us at hello@alpineabode.com.au within 30 days of receiving your item/s. We want you to be confident with your order – should you feel it is not right in description we will exchange or provide a credit note

To be eligible for an exchange or store credit, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must be in the original packaging

Items are to be returned to:

Alpine Abode, 221 Sharp Street Cooma, NSW 2630, within 30 days of receiving your item/s.  

We recommend that you use registered post or a traceable courier when returning an item as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit to us. For larger more expensive items we recommend taking insurance out for the item - to cover any loss or damage as we take no responsibility for this.

Upon receipt of the goods, we will issue a credit note for exchange.

We stock many brands & items that are unique + handmade. Yes they have imperfections + yes they have flaws + that's exactly why we love them. It is the mark of the artist + artisan that you are buying + supporting. We love to support handmade and fair trade products.  Some of our products are made from natural materials and therefore differ from item to item.  If you are unsure about a product, please contact us prior to purchasing and we will help you as much as we can.

Faulty Items

If an item is defective or damaged, please email us at hello@alpineabode.com.au with photographs and advise within 3 days of receiving your item. We will work with you to rectify the situation.   

Sale Items

We don't offer exchanges or returns on sale or discounted items


Shipping

We offer Click + Collect from our Cooma store, just follow the prompts + add your details during check out. You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

We endeavour to have accurate stock levels online, however we are human. All shipments are subject to availability. 

Standard orders placed Monday – Friday (excluding Public Holidays) will be processed and shipped within two business days. Unless the orders are on 'pre-order' status

We try our best to keep shipping costs to a minimum. We re-use boxes and packaging as often as we can to minimise waste. Sometimes our boxes aren’t the prettiest, but we promise the package inside is well looked after.
Parcels are shipped via Australia Post – you will be issued with a tracking number via email at the time of shipment.

All shipping is at the customers risk. Once items have been dispatched and tracking numbers provided, we do not hold responsibility for lost parcels, or packages damaged in transit.

Shipping is charged as per size & weight of your items purchased. We are in Rural NSW so please be aware freight times can very. Australia Post at present is having unprecedented delays that are out of our control.
